Riders will relish panoramic views, a tunnel, a waterfall, and the historic Gothic chapel of Río Blanco, completing a 27 km cycling adventure.

Exploring the Quebrada del Toro, you'll be captivated by the stunning mountain vistas and the swift environmental changes experienced within the initial 14 km of the journey.
We begin by picking you up from your centrally located hotel, with our starting point at Campo Quijano, famously known as "The Portal of the Andes," situated on RN 51. From this point, we'll cycle towards the Viaducto del Toro. This notable railway bridge, constructed in the 1920s, stands approximately 28 meters above the ground and spans an impressive 250 meters. It's an ideal spot for a pause, where we can admire its stunning architecture and capture unforgettable photos.
Following a well-deserved hydration break and appreciation of the surroundings, we will continue our mountain biking adventure along RN 51 towards the "El Alisal" station, completing the first 14 km of our expedition. During this leg, you'll witness the remarkable landscape transition, shifting from the sub-Andean mountain ranges to a drier and semi-arid environment, where the iconic cardones become visible.
At the "El Alisal" station, we will take a much-needed pause to rejuvenate before embarking on the return journey to Campo Quijano. This time, we'll trace the path of the historic C 14 branch line, also known as the Train to the Clouds, offering unique panoramic views of the Quebrada del Toro. During this thrilling segment, we will traverse a tunnel, cross over the magnificent Toro Viaduct, enjoy the refreshing breeze from a waterfall approximately 15 meters high, and pass by the historic Gothic chapel of Río Blanco, built in 1914. Ultimately, we will conclude our approximately 27 km Mountain Bike adventure by returning to Campo Quijano, carrying with us cherished memories of this magnificent experience.
Once back in Campo Quijano, you have the option to indulge in lunch or a snack (expenses are the responsibility of the passenger). Alternatively, you may choose to return to Salta Capital, concluding at your hotel or designated meeting point.
