Tour Description
At the designated time, we will depart from San Luis to visit the Sierra de Las Quijadas National Park. This spectacular location offers a breathtaking landscape, rich with traces of indigenous cultures and significant archaeological and paleontological sites.
Our journey will delve into the captivating history of this region, renowned for its geological formations dating back 100 to 120 million years. During our visit, we will embark on a trekking adventure lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. This trek will guide us through natural balconies overlooking the Potrero de la Aguada, leading us to viewpoints where we can admire the impressive, voluminous cliffs. These cliffs, with their striking red hue due to strong material oxidation, create a stunning natural amphitheater.
After enjoying an unforgettable day at the National Park, we will make our way back to San Luis.
