Tour Description

At the designated time, we will depart from our chosen hotels to head towards the city of La Punta. Established in March 2003, this city is a blend of art, modernity, technology, and nature. During our visit, we will explore the Data Center (the most advanced in Latin America), the Astronomical Park complex, and a recreation of the Cabildo de Buenos Aires showcasing its original 1810 appearance.

Our tour will proceed through Suyuque, home to the Convent of the Benedictine Sisters of Our Lady of Faithfulness. Here, we will pause to take in the breathtaking views from the serene viewpoint atop the mountain range. Visitors have the opportunity to purchase handmade dulce de leche and delightful fruits crafted by the resident sisters.

Next, we will visit Villa de La Quebrada, renowned for the Feast of Christ of La Quebrada celebrated on May 3. The chapel here was restored by Bishop Monsignor Di Pasquo, who installed a life-size Via Crucis of Carrara Marble. This remarkable piece was created by the Italian artist Nicolás Arrighin and unveiled on May 3, 1951.

Following our exploration of Villa de La Quebrada, we will return to our selected hotels in San Luis.
