We will be picked up from the central hotels in the Rock. Afterward, we'll embark on a 63 km journey along route 43 in a 4x4 vehicle heading towards the Villa de Antofagasta in the Sierra.
Our adventure begins with a tour of this quaint town and its surroundings, leading us to the town of Antofalla. This town is part of an indigenous community nestled at the base of the Antofalla Volcano, standing at 6400 meters above sea level, as well as the Salar de Antofalla.
As we journey from Antofagasta to Antofalla, we'll encounter places of unparalleled beauty and breathtaking panoramic views. Highlights include the Laguna Colorada, the Quebrada del Diablo, the Colorados de Antofalla, and the Salar de Antofalla, noted for being the longest in the world.
Next, we'll pause to explore one of the most captivating tourist attractions, the Ojos del Campo. These remarkable geysers, now dormant, are set amidst this stunning salt flat, where we can admire lagoon formations showcasing diverse color contrasts and wildlife.
We will then take a break for lunch in Antofalla, before making our way back to the hotels in El Peñón.
