Trekking Crossing To Alpine Village

The journey sets off from the Schönau area, marking the entry point to La Cumbrecita. From this point, the path leads southward, traversing a lush pine forest beside the Las Mojarras stream, which creates a serene and refreshing environment.

Upon emerging from the forest, the path unfolds onto high plains, revealing expansive, unobstructed vistas. The invigorating air and tranquil ambiance accompany each step until reaching La Puente Stream, where the path delves into the pine forests of Villa Alpina's northern sector.

Arriving at the historic Estancia Cerro Negro, nestled at the base of Cerro La Mesilla, one can feel a connection to tradition and the mountainous scenery. The area's beauty appears timeless, making it ideal for admiration and enjoyment.

After approximately three hours of trekking, the descent leads to Villa Alpina, where you can unwind by the Los Reartes River, offering a well-earned pause. The natural setting encourages relaxation, exploration, or simply soaking in the valley's peace.
